Dual Career Support Programme at the Prague University of Economics and Business

By admission to the Dual Career Support Programme, a Bachelor’s or Master’s student gains:

  • bonus points for priority course registration
  • the possibility of individual fulfilment of study obligations during the semester
  • the possibility to complete a study obligation registered in a given semester by the end of the following semester, including outside the examination period
  • exemption from a registered study obligation if the student could not fulfil it due to national team duties or preparation for them
  • a reduction in the required number of control credits after each semester
  • the possibility of extending the deadline for taking the state final examination
  • consideration when deciding on the amount of fees for extended studies
  • the possibility of accommodation tailored to the student’s needs
  • priority room selection within the dormitory capacity of the VŠE Dormitories and Dining Facilities (SÚZ VŠE)
  • the possibility of shared accommodation for members of a club, team, squad, or training group, who do not have to be students of VŠE
  • free use of the gym at the SÚZ VŠE dormitory where the student is accommodated
  • long-term reservation of sports facilities in the Jarov sports complex
  • use of freely accessible sports facilities in the Jarov complex (workout area, tartan track, basketball court, bouldering wall, slackline), including free reservations
  • use of sports halls in the Centrum Kolejí Jarov building
  • storage of sports equipment in the premises of the Centrum Kolejí Jarov building

Admission to the Dual Career Support Programme means, a doctoral student gains:

  • the possibility to agree with the supervisor on an individual study plan and the scheduling of required examinations necessary for enrolment in the next year of study
  • the period during which the student is enrolled in the Dual Career Support Programme is not counted towards the total length of study
  • accommodation-related benefits as listed above
