Pilates exercise program is focused on the development and strengthening of the internal stabilising muscle system, training of proper breathing and its coordination with movement. Exercise is of great importance to eliminate or alleviate muscle imbalances and improve coordination of movement. Pilates not only develops endurance, but also improves concentration, self-control and well-being. The exercise uses balancing equipment that enhances its effectiveness. Pilates is suitable not only for women but also for men.
